Day 43: No words

Mom got the BRAC results today and she doesn’t have the gene that means I have to get tested.  I hadn’t realized how her test results might impact my life…my entire life….until I got the news today.  I can barely speak….I don’t have to get the test….I don’t have to worry.  I don’t know what to say or think or feel.  I’m overwhelmed.  I’m not a carrier.  Good night.
